By accessing petto.health, app.petto.health, or any affiliated services (collectively, "the Platform"), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please discontinue use immediately.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and all activity under it.

3. Description of Services

Petto Health provides AI-powered insights, preventative care tools, behavioral wellness features, and optional access to pet insurance and supplements. These tools are informational only and do not replace veterinary advice.

4. AI & Medical Disclaimer

Petto's AI-driven recommendations are based on data patterns and known health risk factors but are not veterinary diagnoses. Always consult a licensed veterinarian before making medical decisions. You agree not to rely solely on Petto's AI outputs for critical or emergency care decisions.

5. Subscriptions, Payments & Trials

• Subscription fees are billed according to your selected plan and are non-refundable, unless required by law.
• Trials, discounts, and promotional offers may be subject to change or termination at any time.
• Downgrading may cause loss of features or data access. It is your responsibility to manage plan changes before renewal.

6. Data Use & Privacy

We collect and process data you provide (including pet health info, behavioral logs, and wearable sync data). See our Privacy Policy for full details.

We use data to:

• Personalize care recommendations
• Improve AI accuracy
• Offer relevant product or insurance suggestions
• Share anonymized data with partners (with your consent)

7. Prohibited Activities

• No misuse of AI-generated insights for unethical or unlawful purposes.
• No unauthorized scraping, copying, or reselling of platform data.
• No posting of harmful or misleading content.
• No attempt to reverse engineer or exploit AI models.

8. Ownership & Intellectual Property

All content, code, models, branding, and documentation are owned by Petto Health or its licensors. You may not use our trademarks or designs without express written permission.

9. Limitation of Liability

Petto Health is not liable for:

• Decisions made using AI-generated insights
• Delays or interruptions in service
• Third-party services linked through our Platform

10. Platform Availability & Modifications

We may update or discontinue parts of the Platform at any time. We do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance or unexpected downtime may occur.

11. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or misuse the Platform. You may terminate your account at any time, but no refunds will be issued for partial billing periods.

12. Governing Law & Dispute Resolution

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Fulton County, Georgia, unless both parties agree otherwise. You waive your right to a jury trial and agree not to participate in any class action or representative proceeding.

13. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be notified via email or in-app alert.
