The number of animals currently in your care determines your monthly base fee.
New intakes
Each new animal added to Petto carries a per-intake fee that covers document processing, Petto Intelligence analysis, and health record extraction.

$3.00 per intake
Medium Organization
For growing rescues and shelters that manage steady intake and larger teams.
26–100 active animals
$2.50 per intake
Large Organization
For shelters and care organizations managing higher daily volume.
101–250 active animals
$2.00 per intake
Enterprise Organization
For multi-location shelters, medical centers, and large animal welfare teams.
251+ active animals

How billing works
Base fee
Charged monthly based on the number of active animals in your care.
Intake fee
Charged each time a new animal is added. Covers document handling, Petto Intelligence processing, and record extraction.
Automatic tier adjustments
If your active animals exceed your plan's limit:
- You are notified in-app and by email
- A 14-day grace period gives you time to adjust
- If you exceed the limit by more than 10 percent, your account is upgraded at the next billing cycle
Intakes are never blocked. Your team can continue caring for animals without interruption.
